DAY PROGRAMS:

This educational program will prepare the student knowledge to work at Assisted Living Facilities, Nursing Homes, Adult Day Care, Senior Centers, Home Health Agencies, Homecare Agencies, Hospitals, Hospice Agencies and Police Departments in the local areas.

Day Program Course 1 Description (three weeks):

The course is 135-hour program which runs for three weeks with ninety clock hours in a combination classroom supervised labs and forty-five clock hours in the clinical setting. Course one runs Monday to Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. The offsite clinical rotation will be determined at the beginning of the session. The students will have class instruction by a professional nurse for two weeks in the classroom and labs. The final week the students will perform their practical skills at an off-site clinical rehabilitation facility.

Day Program Course 2 Description (five weeks):

The course is 135 hour-program which runs for five weeks with ninety clock hours in a combination classroom and supervised labs and forty-five clock hours in the clinical setting. Course runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. The offsite clinical rotation will be determined at the beginning of the session. The students will have class instruction by a professional nurse for three weeks in the classroom and labs. The last two weeks the students will perform their practical skills at an off-site clinical rehabilitation facility.
