Do you need to re-take the competency examination?

Candidates must have completed approved program by the State of Connecticut and certification lapsed.

If your nurse’s aide certification has expired and you have not worked as a nurse’s aide or in a position where you provided direct personal care in a period longer than 24 months following your most recent certification, you are required to retake and pass the written and practical examinations administered by Prometric.

C.G. Nursing Certified Nurse’s Aide Review

Design to provide review and testing in clinical area and academic competency.

Will prepare you for the examination consisting of 60 multiple choice questions and practical skill examination.

Each class is limited to no more than 6 people in class on a first-come basis.

All candidates will undergo background investigations.

Candidates must have no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of funds.

The CNA Review course is available for day/evening sessions

The class is a total of 26-hours Mondays/Wednesdays

Day Class Mondays and Wednesdays 9:00am-1:00pm

Evening Class Mondays and Wednesdays 5:00pm-9:00pm

Our experienced Instructors will ensure all candidates are prepared for the exam via review of curriculum modules, continual practice examinations and simulated clinical testing.

The cost of the class including textbooks is $389.00

  • Basic Nursing Skills
  • Personal Care
  •   Mental Health Social Service Needs
  • Additional Modules including Clinical Skills.
